Novice courses are 3-5 days depending on the number of candidates on the course.

The novice fork lift course is designed for delegates who have very little or no previous experience operating a fork lift truck in any environment.

Our courses are designed to ensures that all delegates have obtained a level of fork lift operating skill through practical and theory training that complies with the standards and regulations laid down by the HSE Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) L117.

Without previous experience the novice needs time to absorb the theory and practice safe handling of the lift truck, gaining confidence in their ability and new found skills, as well as appreciating the Health and Safety side of the working environment.

This should result in a higher standard of Forklift truck driving skill and increased safety awareness.
